Warranty Policy
 

Thank you for choosing Computer City 's product. For us to serve you better and faster, please obtain the RMA form and e-mail the completed form to sales@computercity.com.hk or fax your request to 852- 21483088. You can also fill out the form cconline . Computer City will NOT service out of warranty product.

Warranty:

Please refer to our warranty policy for details on all models.

Requirement:

1)   Original invoice ¡V This will show where you bought the product and the date of the purchase.

2)   Serial number of the product ¡V You may locate it on the product.

3)   RMA request form ¡V Please do write down clearly what is the problem and what you would like us to do.

4)   RMA number needs to be on top of the box when you send it back to Computer City ¡V You may e-mail or fax to obtain the number. You may also fill out the form online right now. No returns can be made without an RMA number.

Return:

Warranty claims must provide the above information. Some products may have a charge for parts. All products returned to Computer City shall be informed before collected.

2. Product warranty:

This warranty is valid only for the first consumer purchaser. Computer City sole responsibility and obligation under this limited warranty is to replace or repair the products, at Computer City 's option, during the limited warranty period. Any parts replaced shall be made on an exchange basis and become Computer City 's property

 

What the warranty does not cover:

1)   Any product on which the serial number has been modified or removed.

2)   Damage or malfunction resulting from accident, misuse, power surge, fire, water, or other acts of nature, product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.

3)   The alleged condition is a result of neglect, unauthorized or improper alternations, repairs, improper care, accidents, disaster, weather or transportation.

Return:

Warranty claims must be made in writing within thirty (30) days of the observation of the defect and returned to Computer City within the warranty period according to the return procedures stated below.

Prior to returning any goods to Computer City , buyer shall first call our technical support at 852- 21483088 to verify that the product is defective then obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA"). No returns can be made without an RMA number.

To obtain an RMA number, Buyer must fill out an RMA request form with the following information to Computer City . (a) original sales invoice, (b) your company name and address (c) model name and serial number of product, and (d) specify reasons for the return and any defects in the merchandise in sufficient detail. After filling out this form, buyer should fax it to Computer Ctiy 852- 21483088 or e-mail it to sales@computercity.com .hk Or you can fill out the form online right now. 

Any authorized returns must be returned within ten (10) days of receiving the RMA number and delivery in their original box and packing material, with a copy of original invoice, serial numbers, the written statement of reason for return. All the cables and accessories should be excluded. The RMA number needs to be clearly marked on the shipping labels of all boxes.

All foreign products Buyer returned to Computer City shall be shipped freight prepaid to Computer City warehouse. Any repaired or replaced products or parts shall be shipped to Buyer UPS Ground with shipping paid by Computer City .

 

Out Of Warranty Service Policies:

 Repair Policy

Computer City charges a fee for out-of-warranty repair which varies by model and customer location. The fee covers parts, labor, quality control, a 90 day warranty and shipping.

 Payment Term

For all out of warranty repairs, Computer City will only accept one of the following payment methods:

¡E T/T or Cash in Advance ¡V If paid by company check, the check must be cleared before merchandise is returned

¡E Cash on Delivery ¡V Cash or cashier's check only

 

Disclaimer:

Except as stated in this Section, there is NO OTHER WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR CONDITION REGARDING AMPTRON'S PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR PERFORMANCE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, EXPRESS OF IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

 

Limitation Of Liability:

Computer City SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO BUYER OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY DAMAGES which may arise out of or related to this Agreement, including without limitation incidental, consequential, and special damages. COMPTUER CITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY CAUSED BY ANY DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCTS, DAMAGES BASED UPON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF GOODWILL, INTERFERENCE WITH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL LOSSES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF COMPUTER CITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT (INCLUDING TORTS) SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID COMPUTER CITY FOR THE UNIT OF PRODUCT INVOLVED IN THE CLAIM. This section states the SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY of buyer for any and all claims arising out of or related to the Agreement.

 

 

 

Motherboard Warranty   (Within Hong Kong )  

Warranty:

For all models motherboard, Amptron warrants the Products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year after the original date of the Computer City invoice purchase.

Please check with your local reseller or distributor for warranty details. The terms and conditions will be varied by country. Computer City will provide the RMA service to its distributor only.
